my love is spilling out like oil, all over you

As the summer rolls on, we continue to reflect on our past and ponder what influence, the future will have on our music. Recently, we discovered some articles discussing shows we've played in the last few months.
The first two articles discuss our recent performances at LMC-TV's Award Show. The articles focus on LMC-TV and George Latimer but mention our performace, lyrics and musical interaction between the host, Vincent Graziano.
The third article is about the Queer Dance Party we played in January at The Cake Shop. The event brought people and bands of all sexual orientations together for a night of fun and equality. Although technically not a "Queer Punk Band," we were honored to have participated and this was one of the best shows we've been invited to play. QxBxR really knows how to throw a party! There is a video of us performing I'm In Pain attached to the article in Next Magazine.

3) SCENE + HEARD: Rockers Rejoice: QxBxRx Brings Queer Punk To Cake Shop from Next Magazine
Here's a video of us performing Way Down at The Cake Shop shot by our friend Kathleen Harrington.

FLC Show Recap
06/09/2010 @ 11:35pm
Over the weekend, we played another show at FLC, the Bronx Underground hot spot. Despite the heat, we had a great time playing some new songs but also throwing in some of our old ones. Some highlights of the performance include a big circle pit forming during Wipe Out, people singing along to Nobody Knows and performing the grand finale: our rendition of Shout.
UPDATE: We've received some pictures taken by our good friend, Liz O'Rourke. Here they are:

The Sound & Town Report, the weekly newspaper serving Larchmont and Mamaroneck, recently did an article about LMC-TV's 20th Awards Night celebration. The focus of the article is on the award night itself but features a photo of us since we were the house band that night. If interested, the article can be read here.
Also, don't forget about our upcoming show at FLC in the bronx tomorrow! Detials below.

Everybody's Doing the Fish (yeah, yeah, yeah)!
04/30/2010 @ 6:38pm
Last Saturday we played Manhattanville's 30th Quad Jam. The weather was warm and we were excited that Reel Big Fish would be performing later in the night. We ran through our set at 2:00pm playing mostly originals but throwing in an Isley Brothers song for good measure. It was awesome to be playing again on campus and we'd like to thank the Alumni department for inviting us.
ALSO: Be sure to come to our show tonight, April 30th, at Thataway Cafe in Greenwich, CT. Our real good friends Left In The Attic will be performing!
Here are some pictures from Quad Jam. Video to come soon:
