Time Out New York wrote a story on "Your Perfect Weekend" and mentions the FLC show that will be taking place TONIGHT October 8, 2010:
Boogie down in the Bronx
Make a trip uptown tonight to witness up-and-coming talent at the Bronx Underground 10th Birthday Party & Show (The First Lutheran Church of Throggs Neck, 3075 Baisley Ave at Hollywood Ave, Bronx; 718-829-0650, bronxunderground.com; 5:30pm; $9). The local indie-band promoters began life in 2000 in a basement of a museum on City Island, and tonight host bands like What’s Your Problem Brian and The Kezners. Land of Cake has baked a birthday cake for you to scarf down, and you can buy accessories and bows from Love Tokyo, T-shirts from Regret Clothing and jewelry by ‘Tique Jewelery'.
