The Kezners
About The Kezners
The Kezners is a band from the Bronx, NY. The band name is an homage to Mr. Kezner, an inspirational Earth Science teacher who taught at I.S. 192.
The Kezners began by playing on the streets of Throggs Neck and during the fall of 2000, Doug Baker of Frank Bee’s recruited them to play in front of the famous Halloween store on the weekends. The sound is a mix of garage rock, surf and new wave music which culminates into a 50s & 60s type of rock and roll sound.
The Kezners have performed at places such as: CBGBS, LMC-TV, Otto’s Shrunken Head, Bruckner Bar, First Lutheran Church, The Clash Bar, various colleges and high schools, just to name a few. They've shared the stage with The Gin Blossoms, The Fire Flies, A Moments Worth and more. To book the band, please visit the Contact page.
